Description
Cosmic Indifference, an idea coined by H.P. Lovecraft, is the idea that the Universe being so large and vast would ultimately be indifferent to humans and human struggle. If there is a god or gods, do they care? Do they see us? Do they hear our prayers? Many people hope and pray, and reach out to the divine, hoping to hear something back, hoping that their prayers and pleas will be answered, only to be met with silence. A void. Pure emptiness and nothing.
