Room Number 420 is a work of fiction. It is story of a F.B.I. agent, 'Pete Marshal' and his wife, Linda. At the end of his lackluster career, Pete is hoping to come across one opportunity before retirement that would show his unappreciative superiors, the real expertise he always possessed in organizing and conducting antiterrorism field-operations. His Somali informer-Hailey, operating in the Washington D.C. region drops one such opportunity in his lap.
