In Market Price For Love, a woman explores the pain and solitude of being married to an alcoholic, and her guilt over moving into a new life as she addresses her former husband, herself, and her new husband. Though abused and isolated in her first marriage during their overseas deployment, she struggles to find the resolve to remove herself from the violence. She then describes a period of transition as she reconciles her mourning with her anger.
